This is very annoying, droknars is flooded with monks running out of the damn gate, in toa all i see is: ss/sv lf 55monk or 55monk lf ss/sv necro, always same story. i say: the -50hp offhand should be removed from the game

You already have a N/Me... switch to SS/SV and reap the benefits. Pretty simple.

I dont need the -50hp item, Just saying that Gw is a game of teamwork, instead of farming, farming and more farming. how many ppl still making up teams to clear uw, its always about smite/spider runs.

what would you suggest people who have beaten the game 5+ times do? Quit crying... removing the -50hp item wont solve farming "problems" it will just give birth to something else that will annoy you equally

How exactly is it harming your game play by what/how others choose to do or play the game???
Please inform us of your most common game play style so we can make a complaint about how you are harming us....
FYI I have neither a 55 necro monk or any other low health build and I can still solo most areas of the game with my warrior just to avoid whinny complaining people who do directly effect my enjoyment of them game just by them being close enough for me to hear them complain about everything

You're harming the people who enjoy farming with your complaining.
Thinking about farming is just cool for some people. Arranging skills in ways the developers themselves never even thought about is a real gas.
Just play.

Anet has nothing against farming if it's not extreme (and they view it as a failure on there end and will change it on there end) or it's for Real money / human bots for real money.

There are three ways that certain players earn more gold than the average. The first and most obvious way is that, because everyone plays the game differently, some players are able to find unusually profitable areas to hunt in, or tricky strategies for killing a lot of monsters quickly. The search for the most effective way to play can be a fun part of the game for everyone -- we all like to see how well our characters can do, and whether we can tweak our characters to be better than they were previously -- and so we at ArenaNet don’t consider this a problem unless it’s extreme. Although a very knowledgeable or tricky player may be able to earn gold twice as fast as the average, this tends not to create a significant problem, because prices for items in the player-driven economy will still stay at levels where normal players can afford them. But sometimes differences in the distribution of wealth can be extreme; a group of players can find ways to earn gold ten times as fast as the average player. In this case, prices can rise to a level where normal players can’t afford to trade for items anymore. Then we have a problem, and we need to adjust the game to bring wealth distribution back into normal ranges. We constantly monitor the game, so we know when a certain place or technique is being heavily exploited. When an issue like this becomes too severe, we make tweaks as necessary to bring things back in line.

Also, solo farmer's don't want to party unless they want to so this does not affect the "monk that could be healing" is invalid. They play something else that can solo.
If it's the human bots / computer bots there always trying to shut them down.

I a, totally with you on this one DarkGanni, the -50 hp focus should be sent the same way as HoD weapons. Its an exploit, and no better. Why does it affect me how other people play this game? well, quite simple really. We are all part of the same economy. What some 55hp monk does all day to get materials offsets the economy in my deficit. Essentially i am unable to farm the large amounts that others do, and as a result i suffer from inflation. Look what the popularity of drok runs did to warrior absorbtion runes. The Wammos are prepared to spend more, so the price is inflated, and warriors who play for the team work aspect cant get their hands on the runes. its the same for 55hp monks. Monk sup runes are extortionately highly priced compared to others due to 55hp monks. Ectos and Shards are also gravely affected by this inflation. For 55ers getting ectos and shards is so much easier than it is for other proffesions.
Essentially i see 55ers as a balance problem. Why is it allowed that such a build exists which can solo the most lucrative farming areas? doesnt that seem mad? On the other hand proffesions such as mesmer cant nearly perform as well in PvE. What we get is a split, and often i hear that mesmers are useless pve chars, and only good for pvp. They are meant to be good in both areas. What if one proffesion, say necromancer, was the only proffesion worth using in pvp? woudnt that be considered a flaw. The only build worth using to solo such areas is 55ers. I cant see a problem in changing it.
All you 55ers will probably say that its a source of money for many, and without it much of the items are simply overpriced. all i say to them is that these items are so pricey becuase ppl use 55ers as an easy way to make cash quick. Without this build in use the price of items would soon drop as the money coming in goes down. Its basic supply and demand. The result would be a fair ecomony to all proffesions. Dont even try to argue this logic, its based on real models, on real theorys, on which economys such as GWs are based. Like i said before, its supply and demand at its most basic. Fix it ANET!

They are not a balance problem. They do really bad in PvP, Bad in PvE (unless the party is designed for it) an "single" monster that can strip you of enchantments or intrupted you = instant death.
Anet has changed levels / area's to do this. Not only that the only time Anet has ever removed an item from the game was a "bugged" axe that allowed 2x same mod. Even the unbalanced items that no longer drop remain in the game (for PvP) HoH sword.
Not only that a ton of that money goes in to the "money" sinks built in to the game.

The Dying Nightmares In Uw were created cause of the 55monks constantly soloing uw, players found a way around that and now everytime a group of 8 enters uw have to keep an eye on killing the nightmare first instead of focusing on the aataxes. And now think what was the reason Anet made the dying nightmares.

They also removed old treasure chests (that don't require keys) due to bot farming (no 55hp required). Also consider there are more then one way to farm, 5 team SF farm groups?

I could ask the same question about your avatar aswell. And in about 10months of playtime non-stop you think i wouldnt get 105 ectos, besides i would never pay real money for virtual ones, the reason i have it on necro cause it didnt require obsidian shards, was planning about buying fissure pants for my monk also but since they require shards now, i'll just stick with the 15k ones.

Erm ... pwned?
To the OP: I mean honestly ... all flames aside: does it directly effect you negatively? Doubtful, and certainly very little if at all.
We all have our little pet peeves that bother us in-game, and it's nice that you want to air out your feelings ... but be prepared for the backlash if you do so
